Stone Edging & Decorative Rock Bed Refresh — McFarland, WI

The existing foundation beds at this McFarland home had the usual problem: rock that had thinned out and mixed with soil, worn weed barrier underneath, and no defined border between bed and lawn. The homeowner wanted the beds to look finished and stay that way, so we rebuilt them from the ground up.

Stone edging was installed along the full perimeter of each bed. It gives a permanent, mow-along border that plastic edging can't, and it holds the rock exactly where it's supposed to be.

New weed barrier went down before any rock went back in. The barrier is what keeps the rock from sinking into the soil and keeps weeds from coming up through it.
